Hunter Jones

Scarborough High School
Automotive Collision
Hunter is in his first year here at PATHS and has perfect attendance so far this year. He has completed all 14 I-CAR online intros and the 6 online I-CAR classes and scored exceptionally well. Hunter is currently practicing his GMAW (MIG) steel mig welding towards attaining an I-CAR GMAW steel welding certification. He always has a good attitude and is always engaged in classroom instruction and shop activities.

Auto Tech I
Shane is a very dedicated student who is driven to be the best he can be in the automotive industry. He works diligently to get both classroom and shop task work complete. He helps other students to learn and is well liked by his peers.

Issac Bennet
GNG High School
Auto Tech II
Isaac is dependable, shows up on time and has great attendance. Isaac takes time to help others with tasks in the shop. Isaac was part of a two man team that went to the UTI Top Tech Challenge in December. Their team took first place out of 27 teams winning them both $10,000.00 scholarships to UTI, and they won the Automotive program a Snap On roll box and tools. Isaac is planning on attending Central Maine Community College in the fall studying the Ford ASSET program.

Spencer is a hardworking student who shows up everyday on time. He works well with others and has taken on the leadership role on the shed project, he motivates the crew to strive for excellence.

Alexis Bellas
Culinary Concepts

Alexis brings enthusiasm and focus to class every single day. She has never shied from a task even if it is daunting, always asks what else she can do once her assignments are complete, and is in general the kind of student every teacher enjoys working with. She has a firm grasp of the big picture of her life and career goals and is working toward achieving those goals by showing up prepared.

Collin Roe

Commercial Art
Collin is a skilled drawer of imaginary creatures and themes. He comes into class and works from beginning to the end creating the most imaginative creatures. Collins plan is to go to art school next year. His art will be for sale in the Commercial Art's spring show in May.

Alyssa White
Portland High School
Alyssa is one of the hardest working students. She excels in dance because of her outstanding work ethic and her love of moving and music! Alyssa has a great personality and is a friend to all. She is also an outstanding athlete and plays for the Portland High Girls Hockey Team!!

Alexis Nichols
Kennebunk High School
Alexis is in her second year here at PATHS and currently has a 96 for the quarter. She is a hard worker and sets a high standard in regard to organizational skills. Alexis is currently interning in a kindergarten classroom at Kennebunk Elementary School. She stays beyond her required time because she truly enjoys her work with children. She is planning on attending college next year to pursue a career in special education.

Adara Bankhead

Fashion Marketing
Adara prepared the display for the STEM Expo and attended as a representative for PATHS. She volunteered for the Holiday Craft Sale and made many items. Always going above and beyond, Adara uses her curiosity, generosity and energy to contribute so much toward the program. She also is willing to help other students to achieve their goals.

Tessa has really stepped up this quarter and has become a very solid worker. She has a positive, can-do attitude and has become very independent in her work.

Savannah Cunningham
Portland High School
Savannah is a first year student in health. Her drive to attend the program and maintain a steady grade surpassed obstacles in her way. She takes it upon herself to be sure to get all her work completed no matter what the circumstances are.

Emma Adams
Bonny Eagle High School
Emma has spent this past semester taking an online arboriculture class. She is a curious student who is interested in pursuing secondary education in agriculture. She has challenged herself and demonstrated the ability to do college level reading and writing!

Owen Ryder
Casco Bay High School
Owen is a first year student and has already made great gains. Owen enjoys laying brick and has become very good at it. He has an excellent attendance record and works very hard at his masonry projects. When he has bad days he figures out the cause and takes action. Owen has great work and work ethic and he is a good example for other students to follow.

Kevin Segal
Deering High School
Kevin is a second-year student who has served as the PATHS Student Representative to the Portland Public School Committee for the past year. He is a valuable leader in the classroom and in the Portland community. He is eager to learn new skills, and is a good model for the first-year students. Kevin and another senior are currently building a 3D printer that they have designed using the CAD.

Daniel is currently working on an independent project. His previous project, The First Kiss was accepted into the Maine State Short Film Festival, which was one of the winning films. His film was up against some of the best filmmakers in the state, not just other high school students.

Plumbing & Heating
Dan has excellent mechanical skills and energy. He worked above and beyond within his team to install and diagnose many difficult and complex problems with an older boiler and burner. Dan worked steadily and carefully to insure the boiler/burner would run safely and at its highest possible efficiency.

Zecharia Hoeflick
Windham High School
Zech is a leader in the classroom and great friend to his peers. Zech can be counted on to help out in any situation. He has learned how to use many of the tools/ machines/ computers and has helped train many of the other students. Zech has a very positive approach to learning new information and skills.
