This month the focus is on employability skills and workplace readiness. We are having guest speakers come in to speak to the class.
Students have been working in  Everfi an online banking and personal finance website.  Students are encouraged to work on this at home as well they all have their logins.

The Career Fair at PATHS  is scheduled for March 31st.

Cindy Caplice of SIGCO in Westbrook stopped by the Carpentry and Wood Working programs to talk to the students about employability skills and offer them an opportunity to apply for a position at SIGCO. She discussed the 5 core values that define SIGCO and how those values are common to all professions. Treat the Customer like Royalty

Financially Responsibly  Do the Right Thing  Growth Invest in Ourselves Safety
The presentation was well received and many students filled out applications for employment.

On March 13th Kris Cornish from Maine Wood Products Association will be coming to PATHS to talk with the Woodworking and Carpentry students. Maine Wood Products Association.

Ashley from SignSmith will be coming in to talk about Vinyl sign /vehicle wrapping and owning a small business.
