Attendance
Attendance is a crucial factor in Career and Technical Education. To maximize training opportunities, students are expected to be present every day. Missing school at PATHS will result in poor academic and technical performance and create a void in a student’s skill achievement. PATHS programs are two-plus hours of instructional time, and missing one day is equivalent to losing two classes at a student sending school. Many of PATHS policies and procedures reflect those found in the workplace rather than those typically found in a sending school. Students with poor attendance will not be offered the opportunity for a workplace learning experience or receive employment recommendations from their instructors. Poor attendance will also impact a student's ability to sit for programs third party certification exams. Ultimately, students that do not meet PATHS attendance expectations may be separated from the school.
We do not accept phone calls. If your student is absent, will be tardy or needs to be dismissed please email our attendance secretary.
