Homework

Requirements for assigned homework vary widely from program to program.  Students are expected to complete all work in a timely fashion and teachers are authorized to enforce deadlines for all assignments.  Failure to complete assigned work may result in a grade reduction.

Google Classroom

Part of every PATHS program is Google Classroom. Online classrooms connect and deepen students' in-person hands-on learning experience they gain at PATHS. Instructors will introduce new content that students will need to know for upcoming activities and lessons they will be doing in-person. As a Career & Technical Education school, it is part of our responsibility to expose students to the technology they will see in their future professions. By engaging in remote online learning while at PATHS, our students will become familiar and comfortable in extending and supporting their learning both while at PATHS and in the future. Engagement in Google Classroom will be a regular and required component of a student's PATHS CTE experience.

Make-Up Work

Students are expected to arrange for and complete make-up work for excused absences.  Teachers may establish deadlines for submission of make-up work.  Failure to meet a deadline will result in loss of credit for the assignment, and/or reduction in the quarterly grade.

Progress Reports & Report Cards

Progress reports and report cards will be sent to sending schools each quarter in order to provide an update regarding their current academic standing. Parents/guardians are encouraged to contact instructors with any questions or concerns they may have about their student’s performance.

Ultimately, students that are failing at the semester or the end of the year may be separated from the school/and or not be recommended to return for a second year.
